Despite being constantly on the move, loyal customers never fail to track its location down within a short while. The reason is simple - reasonably-priced and good food. Moreover, it's location near the Bugis and City Hall area makes it a popular dining place for office workers. Recommendations from one of my dear friends led us here one weekday afternoon. Fortunately, it was not at all crowded at around 4pm. Besides the popular pork chop, this eatery specialises in fish fillets and other Taiwan-inspired dishes as well.
Every dish ranges around S$3.50 to S$4.50 - a meal that is definitely valued-for-money, and is completed with refillable seaweed soup, and sides, such as baked beans, veggies, or coleslaw. If noodles are your thing, you can always opt for the (below) option. The sauce is nothing to rave about, but their chilli paste was pretty awesome.
All in all, if you are looking for reasonably-priced, unpretentious meal amongst the CBD area, have a go at their pork chop rice, high chances are that you won't be disappointed. Can't locate it? Look out for their striking red signboard.
Apparently, they are featured in a food-program on Channel 8 called Where The Queue Starts.. 排排站,查查看 4. Check out their feature here:
